Well, I would say that is not too far from the practical truth! Indeed, a negligible juggling of numbers, an insignificant tampering of a couple of 0s and the entire financial picture of an undertaking can assume a drastically different look! Well, sinister jokes apart, the term accounting includes a lot of different professions and career options which have one basic thing in common - the challenge of managing and manipulating financial figures! Be it in the field of investments, stocks and shares, audit, cost analysis, tax planning or public accounting, there is always a lot of opportunity for individuals who are driven my numbers and who have a penchant for managing money. Talking about opportunity in accounting professions, here's a list of careers in accounting that you might want to take a look at if you're planning on taking a plunge into the ocean of balance sheets and intend to spend a good amount of time in exploring the depths of financial statements. Oh, and did I tell you that these jobs pay attractively?

Is there any finance/accounting career which is more imposing, more lucrative, and involves more responsibility than that of the Finance Minister?
